NHS must start saying ‘no’ if it wants to survive
Too many high-risk patients are having surgery, with poor outcomes for both them and society

Geoffrey, as we will call him, was an 85-year-old former barrister with a heart problem and a zest for life. Imagine paying in a home insurance scheme that does not pay you when a damage happens because someone just decided so.
It is time the public stops funding the NHS.
Where administrators, government advisors, judges and AI will advise your suitability for treatment and the doctors (if you actually still trust them) have no influence what is the point in funding this pyramid scheme?
The above is applicable for any publicly national health service of any country that the people lost trust in.
